A busy Saturday afternoon in 1974. Goolma depot plays host to 4719, 4429 and 42216. Rumour has it that the 422 was being serviced in the depot after running trials in the area.

The remnants of the steam era are still present, with the coal stage, ash pit and water tower (behind the coal stage) remaining standing, three years after the last steam engine left the depot's books
